VTX 1800 With Champion Kit

I have a 2004 VTX 1800R with a Champion Trike kit. I have what may seem like a weird question, but here goes. I went to change the coolant today, and it appears that the original owner/installer of the kit removed the coolant overflow tank. It looks like this was done to accommodate the frame piece addition that connects to the frame in that area where the overflow tank would be to both sides of the rear axel. Was this done on anyone else's bike to accommodate their Champion trike kit? Thanks for any input.

Went to the Champion site. Doesn't show as a removed part on the SA kit.

This is very strange... I also have a VTX 1300, so I kinda know where to look, as I assume it should be in the same place. Here is a picture of where the overflow filler cap should be. Nothing there! And no gaping areas under the battery box where something the size of the overflow tank would fit. I guess I will have to get it up on a lift and see how the plumbing was re-routed. A mystery, for sure!

coolant tank

I have an 03 1800 C with a Champion kit and it has a coolant reservoir tank under the bike between the frame rails.
I can't imagine why they would remove the tank as there is plenty of room for it.
