The wife is bothering me for some arm rest. I would like to know if anyone has installed them on a 2014. If so pros and cons.....thanks

I saw them but i would like to get the ones that mount under the tour box and not the ones that mount between the speakers. I saw harley had some for the 13 but not for the 14.

I see that you have your fog light's stay on when you turn on your high beam. What did you have to do to make that work?

I have them on my 2013 Trike and also had them on my 2008 Ultra and my wife would not like to do without them!! They are also no bother to me so I am good with them being on the Trike. I know the ones that were on the Ultra were Kuryakn because we had them installed at one of the Reno Street Vibrations Rallies. The ones currently on the 2013 Trike I believe are also Kuryakn.

One thing worth mentioning is that the armrest on the passengers left side should be locked down so it will not move. This is due to the fact that on the 2013 it has the potential when moved out to the maximum, it will interfere with the passenger's communication connection. A good friend of mine found out the hard way and that gave me the idea of locking mine down to prevent ANY movement.

Good luck with whatever you decide, and ride safe always!!!

Thanks Roger, I'm trying to find out if Harley will be coming out with a set for the 14 model. I like the way the 13's from Harley mount to the bottom of the tour box so i hope they come out with something like that for the 14's. I have the sena wireless communication system for my bike so i don't have to worry about the passenger's communication cord. Do your arm rest mount behind the speakers on the tour box? Thanks, Happy Riding.

They mount on a bracket under the tour pack and pivot/swivel directly under the speakers. Also, the right hand armrest has a folding up cup holder that folds up under the armrest that can not be seen unless you fold it out in front of the armrest. On one of the fuel stops (Ultra) we made coming back from Reno to Oregon the wife did not even get off the bike because she was so comfortable. Trike has just magnified comfort level according to her.

Suggestion, get the armrest for the wife!! If moma ain't happy, no one is gonna be happy!!!

Take care, and ride safe!!

Roger

You right if moma's not happy than it makes me not happy..lol I was looking into the billet made by rivco, i just want something sturdy that i don't want to have to worry about to much stress on the tour box. What's the part number for the arm rest?

Roger, is your tike a 13 or 14?

I see you have a 13, 14 mounts are different

Correct, mine is a 2013 TriGlide!! I would call Kuryakyn direct and talk with them to see if they are even working on one for the 2014 and 2015's. I would think it will have something to do with how many units they have sold for the Trike's. If not many, they may not even be planning on manufacturing one for the Trikes newer than the 2013's.

I actually ran into this today regarding purchasing rear brake pads my Trike. Since they were not listed as available on their website, I called them direct and they stated that due to sales volume for the rear pads on the Trikes they have discontinued manufacturing them because they were not selling enough to make them profitable.

I know brake pads are not the issue, but just making the case that they may not have sold sufficient numbers to go forward with the '14 and '15's, just sayun!!

A call directly to them would answer if they will ever be available.

Who did you call for the brake pads, Kuryakyn???

When I took the trike in for service I had the Fog Lights installed and asked the dealer to do the upgrade so the Passing Lamps and Fog Lights stay on both high and low beam. Had the same thing on my '07' Ultra but that used a wire harness from HD

I called Kuryakyn today and they told me around mid March they will be coming out with some that fit the 14's and 15's. They will mount the same way that the Rivco mount which is behind the speakers on the tour box. My Harley dealer told me he is not sure when Harley will come out with a pair for the 14's. He told me to check back around May or June because that is when Harley comes out with new products. Kuryakyn part number is 8953, not a bad looking set just don't care for the mounting system.
