Saw this for sale somewhere for $1800. Doesn't run. Maybe convert to a VW build--ha.

wow what potential for the right minded builder.

I thought about looking at this but I bet it's really heavy and without driving it who knows what I'd end up with. A 327 costs a few grand to rebuild these days if it's even re-buildable. Maybe someone could give me some pointers here and a value on something like this. I believe it's titled as a TU whatever the hell that means, Not sure what insurance company would say either.:xzqxz:

I built mine myself and here in Mo it is titled as special constructed motorcycle. Mine is just a 302 C4 auto with independent rear from a Mark VIII. Geico was willing to insure due to my record however Progressive was more than happy to insure it and said they insure several home made vehicles. Long story short I wound up insuring all 4 bikes for half what Geico was charging for the other 3 alone.

I was going to go check this out so I inquired about the vin and title then called motor vehicle. The trike is titled as a utility trailer. That would have gone over great with the insurance company.;)

I would think that a creative person, which this would have to be, would rebuild this and call it a home built...... whatever.
