Just your basic trailer, but it does the job perfectly.

Well, we have "reverse trikes" so why not a reverse trike and trailer? ;)
Sorry you're having to let them go.

Sorry - are you giving up on the Trike. Because of the injuries? Had hoped, they were getting better ? Selling together, or will the trailer go separate?
$ ?

ThumbUp Same HF trailer I have. I just haven't assembled yet due to some health issues. With proper bearing grease, they seem to do the job just fine. My Local HF had them on sale and I had a coupon for an additional 20% off. Got the trailer, spare and carrier for under $300. Not bad. So, since the HF isn't built yet, I have no pic.

I got the same great deal! Since it's my first, I didn't see(and really couldn't) spending $3K on a trailer. Took about 3 hours to put together and pulls and tracks perfectly.

Make sure you square the frame up before tightening it all up. Pulled it 790 miles in October and the only issue were the chain hooks bouncing out of the hitch on the trike. Shortening it up a bit took of care of that issue.

I have been signed up for this forum for a couple of years, and I am glad you reminded me!

I do like that this board has all variety of trikes. Hopefully, not so much "single brand loyalty",,, that's the term I'll use. I like almost all things with engines. Always have. Pros and cons to almost everything. I've got friends on Spyders, Wings, Harleys, and even a good buddy on a Rewaco! (Can't wait to try that out). I also met a nice couple who live a few houses down who ride a 1600BMW trike, so when I get healthy again, I'm sure we will ride some with them too.

Looking forward to Spring-2015!

So, it's good that all makes and models have a home here. And I expect that I may have found a home here too.

I am definitely moving TrikeTalk to the top of my morning reading list. I have some other buddies who frequent here also, so that's cool!

Now,,, if I can just figure out how to get a sig-pic loaded, I'll be set!

Hey Steve, if you need a hand with that just let me know I have experience :D

Sorry for taking so long to respond. The trike & trailer can be sold as a pair, or separately.

I haven't listed the trike yet, but if you know of anyone who might be interested, I can send all of the information along with many detailed photos.

Cool Steve, and as soon as your ready, you'll be turning the key on the Rewaco:D

"1600BMW trike" I forget the sig but someone has a beautiful Red one on here...Love seeing all the diferent models.

I like the basket. Did you remove any leafs from the spring pack? Do you run interstate speed with the 8" wheels?

Thanks, actually I have moved on to a Bushtec trailer now, but the HF trailer has a new owner and he is completely happy with it. To answer your questions, I took out the extra leaf and only used the main spring in the pack. Yes I ran the 8 inch wheels, but packed the bearings with better high speed/high temp grease right from the start and never had a problem with them or the tires. I know the "lawyer" speed rating is 55 MPH, but that trailer has been towed at normal Interstate highway speeds and above without problems. The basket was something I had around that came with my Arctic Cat 4 wheeler and I put it to use.

I have read that a spring was removed to keep the trailer from bouncing but I didn't have that experience with mine. Mine has slipper springs but I have seen others that had fixed eye springs; not sure if that makes a difference in cutting down the bounce though. I feel a lot better about cruising down the interstate on the 8" wheels based on your response. Thanks

Bigman2, now that's a good looking rig! And I'm not a big fan of the yellow wings but yours with the trailer tends to change my mind some.

I am looking for a place to buy wheels for my Hannigan trailer trying to get some to match or come close to the trike wheels
