Guess she had two young peters send her to jail?
Hard to understand how she would trash her career and her life over something not that good to begin with and no chance of leading anywhere only too have poetic justice jail her?

I always assume that these "poor" teenage boys that get worked over by a good lookin' teacher are very much the lucky hero to their buddies. I am not condoning the practice of course, but I know the "victim" is not as outraged and screwed up as they make it out to be. I know that some of us that lost our virginity at an early age did not consider it a terrible thing. At least I didn't.

:Agree: I have to believe the boy was getting plenty of high fives from his buds. I know when I was 14 I sure wouldn't have turned that awaypepper.
We could easily start a new thread here about how young we were, how old she was, and how it messed up our lives forever and we never recovered. You first Zook!!

SEATTLE - Mary Kay Letourneau, the former schoolteacher who sparked a major local scandal in the 1990s by having sex with her sixth-grade student, is back in jail in Seattle.
She was arrested on a warrant and booked into the King County jail on Monday morning for failing to appear in court for a suspended driver's license case. Bail was set at $5,000.
Prosecutors say Letourneau was originally pulled over for expired tabs a year ago and was found to have a suspended license for unpaid traffic tickets. She was ordered into a state relicensing program which would require repayments of fines and help her work to get her license back and avoid a criminal charge.
Letourneau failed to show for that program and a criminal case was filed, prosecutors said. And when she failed to appear in court for the criminal case hearing in September, a warrant was issued for her arrest.
It was that outstanding warrant that led to her arrest after being pulled over by a Tukwila police officer Monday morning. She's expected to appear in court on Tuesday afternoon.
The notorious Letourneau made international headlines back in the late 1990s after she was convicted of raping a 12-year-old who had once been her student in the Highline School District. She became pregnant with his baby and wound up spending years behind bars.
She and her former student, Vili Fualaau, ended up getting married nine years ago after her release from prison. They have two daughters - a 15-year-old and a 14-year-old.
Now 50, Letourneau became a grandmother two years ago when the oldest son from her first marriage had a daughter.

Just goes to show that a young trouser snake carries just as much poison as the older one?
At 50 yrs. old she still ain't got it straight in her head.
