52 degree and dampish here in the hills of Southern Ohio. I will take it and not complain,, you don't have to shovel "DAMPISH"

Snow is about all gone, flood warning thru Sunday morning in low areas. Most of that water comes from upstate.
CC if you want to watch the river flows and forecast go to Scioto Basin. I also watch the NWS local river forecast(water.weather.gov). I hope they miss the forecast crest again. NWS says the Scioto River will rise 14' by Monday evening. If they are right we'll be out Sunday night trying to talk the folks in the low lands to get out.

Rained all night into the morning in CenTex, now coolish (62*) and sunny. Pretty day; next week colder but only into the 50s. Not bad for Christmas week! Still have a little shopping to do, but only a little!
Hi folks! Nice day in NJ today, 65*. Supposed to be warmer tomorrow. Took advantage of the thaw to change oil in wife's car and to wash our vehicles. Heard a lot of cycles riding around, but mine is sleeping. Will run it a bit tomorrow.

Fired up my bike for the 1st time in almost 2 mo's. Between the weather and my recent back "tune up", it's been tough to go riding. Squeezed in a brief 40 mi run just to see how the back would hold up. So far, so good. I figured if I end up with a back ache, I rather get it from riding, then from the dreaded therapy exercises. Shhhhh - don't tell the Dr.
:laugh:p.s. - the bike fired right up and it "ran like a top". ThumbUp

It's crazy to walk outside to 59º on December 22 in Ohio! But thankfully 24 hours of steady rain seems to have stopped. The forecast is for falling temps and will feel like winter again after today, so I think I'll enjoy it while I have it.
Wishing all of you a wonderful Christmas this week! With a house filled with family, I may not be online much at all, so I'll say it a bit early. Whether you are celebrating Christmas (as we are) or Hanukkah (as I know several of you are), may your home and family be blessed! I know Mike and I are counting our blessings!
