Well, I have gone through several ideas since I first joined this forum, but I finally got things straightened out and decided on what I really want. I built this from scratch. Dave Huntress AKA Tigman constructed the frame around a Yamaha XS1100 motor. It features a set of Chica bars and an American Ironhorse tank, along with a Mustang rear end and wheels. I'm still trying to decide what to do with the rear section and how to mount the fenders.

My wifes and my Honda Valkyries. Hers is a 2000 that I build the frame work, cut the axle and bought the body from US Trikes. Mine is a 98 that was rear ended. I cut everything from the seat back off and rebuilt everything. The axle I cut down to 32" from brake plate to brake plate and am running 295-50-15s. Also painted them to match. Just bought a 97 Valk that I am going to build an independent rear end for it.

Hi, what IRS rear-end housing did you use? I would like to build an IRS trike. The IRS ride is a far better ride than the solid axle ride, as you know. I am going to have to hit some wrecking yards to see which cars use an IRS rear-end. Also, I have found a trike body; it looks like a Lehman. The bike I am going to use is a Yamaha Royal Star Venture. Thanks for any info, Glenn

This is the thing about building. I recently bought a place in Laconia, NH, and am relocating there in the middle of bike world. The trike has a 4.3 Chevy V6 with a Turbo 350 trans with a lockup converter and a narrowed Ford Ranger rear. It will be done by bike week if money and ambition hold out, lol.

There are four trikes that I have built in my little 20x24-foot garage/machine shop, all home-crafted from start to finish.
The first is a 1995 ST1100, which had a "junk" title. I completed this one in 2009, just after taking a test ride on a Can-Am Spyder. I called it the Stealth11 and put over 25,000 miles on it.
The second is a 99 Valkyrie Interstate that had hit a deer. I still have this bike, and it has been redone as my fourth conversion using a new concept and design. This bike has over 140,000 miles on the clock, with the conversions accounting for 36,000 miles. My third bike was a 2001 Goldwing, which I rode to Sturgis last year, and I have over 127,000 miles on it (only 11,000 on the conversion). This one was worked on last winter.

This trike features a Chevy 4.3 V-6 engine, a Turbo 400 transmission, a Ford 8.8 rear end with 3:55 gears, and a Harley Road King front end. We call it Chariot of Fire. I have posted before and after images of the rebuild.

been working on it for the last 8 to 10 years ,flat black parts too be painted dark blue
