OK! how come there is a Honda Group, and a Harley Group, and even a Stallion Group, along with a VW group, but not a Yamaha Group,,,

It seems that as the Red Headed Step Child of the clan we are stuck in "Other":no::no: we have feelings too!!!!!!!

Are there enough of us here to have our own bed room, or do we stay out on the back porch..........

kj5ix - is it because you guys never have problems with you trikes? I would go ahead and give Yamaha trikes their own section, but just being a lowly moderator they don't give me all the buttons. I bet if a few of you Yamaha members would post here the odds would be you get one..Nothing like committing the administrators without consulting with them! See you probably got me in trouble now..don't you feel bad? :)

Hard to refer to me as an "anything Headed Step-child" (unless Salt n Pepper Bald Head)
LOL! I think we have enought Yamaha inspired Trikes on here to have a Group, so I'm in!

Ya Nana we need our own group. "RED HEADED STEP CHILD's" I'm not as bright red as I used to be, but hey at least I still have hair on the old noggin.

I suggest giving the Yamaha crowd their own group.

LOL...... don't write yourself off yet, kj5ix. I'll talk with the administrator (AKA Bazooka ). We'll see what he thinks.

I'm gonna' see how Your Moderator Program fairs before I commit to an opinion..........I'd kinda' like to have a few more Moderator Buttons......

I started a Can Am Spyder Forum and it never went anywhere. If I thought you guys would give a Yammi Forum some action I might just give you one of your very own. Are there enough Yamaha trike owners here to support a forum?

That is what I was sort of digging for,,, a sort of count to see how many people there are. But when ya have to sift through the Other section to find a topic about a Yamaha, if it isn't right on the top or close to the top. I think they just move on. I don't know for sure. That is what I do a lot of the time, and don't bother to log in.............

We're such an elite group they just plain didn't know what to do with us. ;) Thus we got put away outta sight in "other".
Anyhow you know that the squeaky wheel always gets the grease.

Seriously I hardly doubt it as there isn't that many of us even on the Yamy fourms. BUT we are growing by leaps & bounds now that Hannigan has been building conversions for these bikes. As well as those of who chose Tri-Wing as our conversion. So who knows what the future holds for us.

Yea I noticed that on the other forum by the replies on some of the things I have over there, but the good thing is that all of the replies are good and mostly accurate. There are several over there, but not all that active. If it is above 40 they are out ridding I guess,,,,,

OK ... chaulk up one more for Yamaha. My ride is a sweet 02 Midnight Venture Triwing. Been riding for 53 years ... yup ... thats 53 years.
Never had a scrape on me or the bike ... maybe a ticket or two, but that was when I was young and stupid ... not so young now!

Hi BlaqueHawque! Welcome to TrikeTalk. So..... you are about 58 years old, eh? You've got tons of years left to enjoy that beautiful Yamaha trike! :D

One of my finalist choices in the impending trike purchase is a Stratoliner-I think they make a cool lookin trike, and a 113 inch motor to boot. This is sayin sumpin for me -a two wheel harley rider for 25 years! And yes I feel like more info and a Yamaha section is waranted.:Trike1:

Welcome aboard BlaqueHawque! How is the ride on your Triwing. I have 09 RSV Hannigan. It rides excellent. Anyway, glad you could join us.

I LOVE our Yamaha!!!!! I check by this forum regularly to see if there is any news; as in "Thanks Bazooka for posting this sale on rakes" & stuff. We haven't done anything with our 40 mph shakes yet but will get with you if ok before making any purchases along that line.

Yamaha makes a Quality Product (might be predjuced, as I worked for them) Never saw one come back in over 5 years for engineering problem they hadn't corrected...just lack of Maint and carelessness! My '08 Roadstar w/EFI is Outstanding and "American BA", that Stratoliner is one of the Finest Pieces of Equipment I've ever seen...Lowest Center of Gravity, Handles like a Caddy, it's the Bomb!!!

Doc

I must say as a persistent Yamaha rider for many, many years, I was thrilled to see CSC trike conversion for the Stratoliner. I think it is just too beautiful for words. I was planning on a BMW1200C from Grinnall in England - a sports car compared to the Hot Rod.
My wife is 80% trike vs. 20% sidecar so I am almost there.
look forward to more Yammi talk.
