Will someone please help me get the right fork seal kit for my bike. I have bought several and after getting my forks apart to redo they are not the right set...I have a 89 yamaha venture royale 1300...

Not sure where you have tried getting the fork seals from but Partzilla is a really good source for parts. I am seeing 2 different 89 Venture Royale 1300 models, the XBZ13DW and the XVZ13DWC but both appear to use the same parts. Here are links to each fork pages. Although not all the parts seem to still be available, it looks like the seals are.

Are you the original owner? It could be possible that this being a 36 year old bike, a previous owner swapped out forks from a different model too.

The two models mentioned by Mike for the 89 Venture are identical but the one with the "C" appended is the Cali model and has some smog stuff the 49 state version doesn't. Dennis Kirk has fork seals:

I was a member of the Venturers (another Venture model club and it preceeded the Ventureriders) for a number of years and was the club chaplain. Unfortunately, to view the forum area to ask questions, I believe you need to join. I am no longer a member as I let my membership lapse many years ago (owned a 2000 Venture Millenium Edition #13 bought new in 2000).

You are correct and wasn't thinking when I saw that. I should have known that since Honda does the exact same thing...

No not the only owner and thank you I will look

The models with the "C" on the end are California spec; that is, there are differences in the carburetion primarily and typically almost 99 percent of parts are the same and the Cali model will have smog related additions.
