Xied install

Installed fl-XIED'S on Stock 2013 TG. Short 50 mile run with a definite improvement on how smooth it pulls, etc. however it really doesn't feel much cooler, maybe a little hotter. Interested in how others have found the heat after install.

Also I grounded both leads to neg. terminal on battery yet install instructions say to ground the black lead to the frame, but I have no idea where. Could this effect how the XIED'S work? As far as grounding there are some open holes under the seat on the frame, can I just add a bolt and washer for a ground or leave both to the battery terminal?

I used one of the small bolts on top of the frame for a grounding point. Until you remove the CAT the heat will remain an issue.

:Agree: With the richer AFR caused by the Xied the cat will get hotter because it will be more active.
