I know I'm preaching to the choir, but what a great ride I had with the wife today! Only 160 miles Between Marietta GA and Blue Ridge and back with a few side roads along the way, but what a perfect fall day. Clear and crisp, with a lot of bikes out and a lot of trikes too.
Even though together we tip the Toledos at around 475, the TriGlide was pulling the hills at 70+ in 6th gear with nary a whimper. And oh good lord, the glorious sound coming out of the Jackpot slip-ons from the FM cat-free header was indescribable. I guess there's a reason I've literally never even turned the radio on...
It's days like this that make me happy I can still get in the wind on something, and the Tri is so liberating in that respect. It just eats the miles like they were a snack.
Well I apologize for carrying on so but just had to share.
