I have a engine fan which was wired to the horn circuit by a HD dealer, rendering the horn button useless. I need a horn so I bought a Wolo Bad Boy, air horn but could not install it in the factory horn position, due to the engine fan.
After trying several places, I settled on using the cross bracket on the front legs. It had two holes already there with black plastic plugs in them. I had to make a bracket to bolt to the rear side of the cross frame to allow clearance so the fender wouldn't hit the horn when the front end is fully bottomed out.
I wired it up to the horn button with the supplied relay.
The bracket photo was taken before I trimmed the excess off and painted it all gloss black to match the frame.
