Wiring harness question

My buddy is going to look at a legend trailer to put behind his 11 Tri Glide. so here is the question:Will the wiring harness off of the two wheeler that towed this trailer work on his tri Glide providing that the two wheeler is the same year as his trike?

I am going to say yes, the wiring to hook up a trailer will be the same for a 2 wheeler to 3 wheeler and being the same year makes it even better. Now granted I'm not a wiring expert but this sounds simple enough to me anyway, your just adding a third wheel, the wiring on the triglide will be longer to get where it is supposed to go compared to the 2 wheeler.

As I said I'm no wiring expert

Since the trike has two tail lights i wasn't sure if the plugs would be the same.

Yes the trike has 2 tail lights but a brake light wire is a brake light wire, the wiring plug and harness isn't going to know if there is 1 or 2 tail lights IMHO, like I said I'm not a wiring expert.

Maybe have your friend call Legend and ask them, they would know but IMHO it will work if it is connected up right
