2013 triglide, still under factory warranty.
Noticed the wire loom cover by the cat. is melted, exposing the wires.
Dealer says this is cosmetic and not covered by warranty.
Doesn't sound right to me.
Have others had the same issue, and got the same dealer response?
Thanks

Might try another dealer ???

A call to HD customer service in Milwaukee asking if its cosmetic then why is it there and then if its only cosmetic then they must have it mounted to close to the header pipe. Sounds like warrantee issue to me.

My 2011 started melting the wire loom cover also. Dealer offered to replace, but correctly pointed out it would just happen again. So, I took matters into my own hands and put some insulation shielding between the wires and the headers. Problem solved.
