unused power wire

I have a 2017 triglid ultra I put Harley arm rests on for my wife instructions say to remove ground plate in trunk when I did I found an unused plug with two wires one black other purple dealers that I asked don't know what its for any info would help

I just installed an auxiliary power port and that is the wire which supplies power. Harley power port bolts in and plugs up easily.

Yep, it's the connector I used to install the Tour-Pak Auxiliary Power Port.

I would run, not walk to a new dealer if they don't know the basics. That's just plain scary.
