Windows 7 Help

My mother-n-law has a computer with Windows 7 on it,, she likes to play games,, the ones that U buy the CD-DVD dowload and look for things or solve problems.. Anyway the problem is she can't get the games to come up full screen.. no matter what we have done they all come up small screen..
It is not just one it is every game she downloads. so it makes me think it is a setting on the puter some where???

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated..She is in her 80's and this really helps her pass the day.

Steve, try checking the settings on the control panel for the graphics card. There may be a setting for "Games", depending on the type of card in the system.

I also found on one site where someone suggested pressing the F11 key when the game comes up.

I'll keep digging and let you know if I find anything else.

Steve, right click on a blank section of your start up screen. Go into screen resolution. Make sure the monitor is correctly identified. Hope the correct drivers are installed for your graphics needs. You can change many screen options on that screen.

Thanks Bryan,, it was not the resolution, my brother n law worked on it and found several problems..
It works now, and that is all I care about.. Two women off my back..
