CAPE CORAL FL
New Member as well. Started riding last Friday. Hahah I have never thought about riding until recently several guys (younger) from my fire department I work at go on month long trips so I figured what the hell I will give it a go. So bought a 2001 Yamaha Royal Star Venture with a Tri-Wing has 15K miles on it im pleased with it and I am learning a lot the forum has already helped me with minor stuff. I will be purchasing a rake kit this week to help with the shakes. At any rate I look forward to meeting y'all. I live in Cape Coral Fl if anyone wants to ride Im game the more miles the more comfortable I will be.

Thanks

Jesse

Welcome to Trike Talk from South Central PA. Thank you for your service as FF/medic to your community. I too was a FF/EMT over the years with two of our local fire departments as a volunteer which most of the FD's in our area are. The department in my hometown has a paid Fire Chief and one paid driver but everyone else was a volunteer from my position as Deputy Chief on down. The other department in the neighboring town I was involved with even the Chief was a vollie.

Glad you found Trike Talk. There are a lot of good people on here and much information to help get you into the world of trikin!

Ride safe and again, welcome!

Another welcome from Texas. Lots of great folks on this forum for info and shooting the breeze.

Welcome! I am also in Cape Coral. We are up in the northeast corner of the Cape. We just made the ride over to Café 27 last Saturday. If you are headed to Miami today you will get some seat time in for sure. Have fun and stay safe! Maybe we can work out a ride soon. My neighbor and I both have TG's and ride often.

Thanks fellas. The miami tripped ended in Bonita Springs my Trike decided to stop running at the fire department as I stopped to say hello. Thank gof it decided to quit working there. Towed to shop and battery was pushing 36 volts and the regulator and stator are damaged. Oh well theres always another day.

That is a stroke of bad luck... Hope you get it back on the road soon!
