When is it gonna end????

16 right now and going down... Word is that next week the big warm up is coming.. :pepper:

This Sunday Daylight Savings Time goes into affect, Maybe with the extra hour of Sunlight it will melt some of the plies of snow....... ;);):D

Under threat of another of these named winter storms (when did they start that?) that is about to dump a massive 8 inches on us. Our county does not own a snow equipment. We close schools when 1/2 inch is forecast. Everybody runs out and buys bread, milk and eggs. WE are going to die, die die. In other news, it's is suppossed to be 70 degrees next week

Steve

Everyone in SC must have survived the 8 inches of snow since I haven't seen any trikes for sale on the Web.....

8 Degrees this morning, Froze my bagels coming back from the coffee shop.:gah:

I was thinking of moving down south for the winters where it's much warmer, ''But'' that would mean I would have to live next to all them Southerner's... :D;)

I tried that once... Moved from Northern Idaho to Reno, Nevada. HATED it! Nothing but sand and dust. No good places to ride. Moved back to Idaho.

actually the storm missed the majority of SC. temperature line moved north so we got rain. 60 today 68 tomorrow but rain next week. got about 100 miles in today. proably double that tomorrow with more daylight.

Lots of good sun and temps above freezing today really helped to put a dent in the snow. Unfortunately it looks like it may be mid June before all the salt is off the road.

Glad to hear it's starting to warm up back there. We've already got grass, and it's growing! That's another 2 hours a week to mow it and two fewer hours a week to ride the Harley :( The only thing I liked about living in Nevada was that if you didn't water the grass, it didn't grow, and you didn't have to mow it!

Finally, it's warmer in Little Rock but now it's raining and raining & raining. Got in a brief ride Saturday.

I'm thinking of sponsoring a pothole slalom race.

Got up to 57 for the high yesterday, our normal high for this date is around 35 above. The next 5 to 7 days are supposed to be in the 50's and even low 60's. Way above normal. Most of my yard is clear of snow except on each side of the driveway where I shovel the snow off the driveway. We've only had about 18 inches of snow this year which is way below average of 40 to 45 inches (I do feel sorry for those out East with all the snow, been there, done that). I've seen a few bikes out and about the past couple days. I would like to get the trike out but it is in storage at Stutsman HD and I will probably leave it there until the first part of April. We could still get snow and cold for the next few weeks. Back a few years ago we had a blizzard on April 13 and 14th that even the IRS gave us a couple extra days to file taxes as we couldn't get to the post office.

Well just heard the forecast for Phoenix today. High of 86 & 90 by the weekend . Of course that's 10 degree's above Normal for us. But were going to enjoy it anyways ThumbUp

This is it ;; I declare it the end...
46 Degrees And rain, NOT Snow:pepper::pepper:

Today isn't a whole lot better, 33 degrees with a strong wind bringing the wind chill down to near zero. I am not going to freeze my giblets for nobody! There will be a warm day soon, then I can go for a nice ride without worrying about my giblets.

We had 3 days of upper 60's and lower 70's. Had to work getting things ready for the spring planting.
Now it's in the low 40's for a while.
I don't see how you folks up north do it. I think I need to move farther south as it is

70 degrees and a nice bright sunny day today in Coeur d'Alene. Took a nice little ride with the wife through town and around the lake shore. My lawn is starting to grow again, and I guess I'm going to have to start riding the garden tractor for a couple of hours each week instead of the Harley. .

I guess I spoke too soon, I had to ride to Pa,[630am] And at the top of New Jersey the temp was 30/32 and snowing, But just a wet inch... Once I got into Pa it was 40 and cloudy... Just another spring day
