Whats for Supper?

Guys,

There is a new book out on smoking meats called
[h=1]Franklin Barbecue: A Meat-Smoking Manifesto[/h]
This guy is hands down, there is not even a real close second, the best in the world.

This is not a recipe book. This is about the science of smoking meats.

Being a Texan, I have been smoking and grilling meat all my life and was pretty darn good at it. My stuff has went from really good to World Class

I don't have the luxury of a smoker like his, but even with my backyard built offset smoker and using his smoking and wrapping techniques it makes a huge difference.

My nephew uses his square propane smoker with Franklin's techniques and his is just as good as mine

We like breakfast for supper sometimes: Ma makes a great omelet. Eggs (of course) fried potatoes, American, Pepper Jack and Velveeta cheese, crushed red peppers, and lots of crispy bacon. A heart attack in the making.

Sometimes I prepare supper. I can make a killer peanut butter and jelly sandwich, but that's about all. (kidding)

Just another unpredictable Saturday evening at the OR.

Time now to prepare a late evening lunch/dinner meal.

Sautéed chicken breast in coconut oil, sitting on a bed of tri-colored quiona, with sautéed broccoli, white onions, garlic and yellow squash. ( all organic vegetables).ThumbUp

All washed down with one big glass of organic red syrah wine.:D

Now it's goodnight.:xszpv:

Until next time.:laugh:
