Hey y'all! I can't believe I didn't read this forum sooner!! I'm almost done building a Mini WSM (Weber Smoky Mountain). I just bought a Tel True thermometer and now I have to drill a hole to mount it to the pot. I don't know if y'all ever heard of a Mini WSM, but it's a smaller/cheaper version of the Weber Smoky Mountain. I would love a Komado or BGE, but my pencil isn't sharp enough to get one yet! I love to look at all this here food pics, especially all that Southern food!! Both my Mama & Daddy is from the South (Bama & Southern tip of IL), so I was raised on good 'ol southern food! Here in WI, people here wouldn't know a collard green if ya hit em in the face with one!! I let my wifes sister get a spoonful of cornbread-n-buttermilk and I thought she was gonna puke!! I'd rather eat a bowl full of that rather than ice cream!! I'm lookin forward to some more pics, I'll get the smoker build done and post some pics too!!

The News has it at 23 tonight with wind chill at 18, that's cold to me.
Hers was good, no complaints there, just didn't have the same presentation. Seems everything you cook looks like it came off the chiefs table at an upscale restaurant.
