What did you do to your Trike this week?

Dawingrider, let me know what type of surgery you are going to get and how you make out.
I bought some night time glasses, they seem to help a little. I did notice with the glasses on, everything seemed brighter, so the painted lines on the road were very visible, which is good.
No problem driving divided highways, it's the two lane driving which is star burst.

I'm with you fellows with that. When it is getting close to or dark I'm through for the day unless I am close to the end of the ride.
I was diagnosed with catrics 2 years ago. Just passed the eye exam for my renewal of my DMV. I was wearing new glasses though.
Dark and rain is the one that causes me to strain to see like I would like.

Looks great and took a lot of work to get it done.
These people are braver than I am, taking on a major refit, from two wheels to three!

Rosy,

Talk with your eye doc about yellow lenses (not amber) in a wear-over frame. They help alot with cutting the edge from headlights and the like.

Put on my last chrome cover today on the dashboard, if you want to call it a dashboard :Shrug:. it was the switch-box for the reverse gear control. Got all parts covered now. As you know it never ends, more stuff to come.

Hey Rosy, not much gets by you Yep, those are for my GPS & XM, wouldn't leave home without them. Not water proof, but water resistant. Maybe once a week I'll get something to add on to the trike. Just save your stuff up and one of these day we'll meet-up on a road trip and we can put all the stuff on your trike :laugh: Ride safe

My trike did have both pouches at one time, but now, I have an MP3 player, so no more XM.
My GPS does have a pouch which can be put on if needed, but most of the time, Janice will be my co-pilot with the GPS.
The Kury handlebar holder now hold the Kury stainless steel jug, which most of the time is full of cold water, while the other handlebar side can hold a cup of coffee for Janice.
As we go along we reconfigure our trike to better suits us as we travel and also reduce cost where possible. Isn't life great, we can do these things!

My last planned project (for now). Just finished putting on an early Christmas present from the better half; a Matuzu trunk with backrest for more storage. Combined with the Mustang seats installed last week, she's much more comfortable.

Thank you... Still getting accustomed to three wheels vs. two, but having lots of fun doing so...

Very thankful that my better half of 44 years enjoys riding with me. Anything I can do to make her more comfortable is well worth the time, effort and $$.

And besides, she's probably the only woman alive who could/would put up with me for that long! ThumbUp

Put some chrome lowers, after 2 1/2 hours fighting fused in upper. Previous owner not so good with maintaining trike. Chrome goodies as follow: lowers, upper cans, levers, iner primary cover, floorboard brackets, switch covers, taillight covers.
The best improvement was covering the black shifter so it also is chrome. I read alot of blogs out there and no one had any ideas. Well, I may live in Fl. but I still have my "Yankee Inginuity". I had an old Chrome end cap to a throatal grip and it was the exact size to cover top of shifter. I then took some A/C duct tape, which when wrapped aaround the black knob and smoothed out with a squeegie.....I now have a Chrome shift knob,

Yesterday I hooked up the battery tender on my trike since I will not be around to start it at all for the next two months. We're enroute to Rochester, MN (Mayo) right now so I can get a stem cell transplant to hopefully cure my lymphoma lung cancer and get back to riding in the spring.
