Just finished installing Hertz, SP4.900 amplifier and four Hertz 165 NEO speakers. All were on sale at www.Volunteeraudio.com They do a great job in setting everything up so it is 'plug and play'. Now I just need a test ride to check out the new sound.

Took a nice 75 cool ride Saturday with Mrs Notgrownup. Went to the grocery store and it was really nice to have all the space to carry what we needed back home.

We have been having some great weather here also. Not too hot, nor too cold.
Been a joy to carve up some of the roads in the area with this goldilocks weather.

Sent my 21’ TriGlide into winter hibernation at my local dealer… salty roads are in the forecast for Sunday, so my final 2023 total ended up at a little over 18k for the season.
Winter plans include having a set of DK’s rear axle bearing retainer plates w/new bearings installed, along with a 1” tank lift (Deluxe), brake pads replaced, and having my Panhard Rod replaced under warranty (replacing the stock Heim joints with a set of heavy duty ones that hopefully will last a bit longer.).
I’m already going nuts waiting for the salt to be washed away and spring to arrive!!

We got a short breakfast ride in on Saturday, only about 70 miles, then the rain came again on the weekend. It was 80 and sunny on Saturday, now the furnace is on and 42 out, crazy weather down here.
2021 Venom Green Tri Glide Ultra
So I just purchased a hold over 2021 Venom Green Tri Glide Ultra and have added many parts and upgrades.
I started with a rear-end lift kit and a new Legend Spring set to replace those OEM air struts. I then went to adding a rear bumper to protect the body and then went on to the Air Pac with brake light, front and rear drink holders, chrome speaker trims, exhaust shoe protector, passenger, and driver highway pegs and lift, and extended passenger footplates extensions. Then duel passing mirrors, DK LED brake lights, front turn signals, fairing turn signals, and riding lights. Replaced the shifting rod with the HD aluminum trimmed bar, and new HD high-flow Screaming Eagle air intake.
Now I am adding the Reinhart 4" Slip-Ons with the DTK Baffles, and Dakota Digital MLX Series 4-Gauge Kit. Finally, I just bought the V&H FP4 Autotuner to get it all straight. So I am not sure just whats next other than a BIG ROADTRIP!

I was going to buy the Snake Venom Trike. Love the color. But the dealership put a bunch of extra's on it, make it cost prohibitive. So I bought a 2022 Black Tri-Glide. It had a few goodies installed on it, but nothing like the Snake Venom. Congrats.

Added DK Cooling Deflector Wings and a Tank Lift
its Michigan I added DK Cooling Deflector Wings and a DK 1.5 inch Tank Lift for spring.
Filled gas tank up, put stabilizer in the tank, and then put the cover on.

I need to order the deflectors, I have the tank lift already…I need to get mine in the shop to install my homemade catch can, what is the piece under your set like a leather crotch cooler?

I got the fenders and trunk off for the paint shop. Rear fenders were scuffed. Front fender was new in primer. And the trunk had been replaced with a red one. We will be new looking for spring.

Fixed the heated grips
Added a relay to the heated grips wiring harness to only have power when the engine is running. Don't know why HD made something so simple so hard. And then get it wrong. Oh yea...the money...
Tomorrow I'll clean up the wiring, tuck it away and then reassemble the trike.

Yesterday I rode home from work for the last time, retired.
Congratulations now you’re gonna find out that you won’t have time to do all the things you thought you’d have time to do when you retired..

Disconnected the battery maintainer and moved to a scooter
Mine is sitting in the garage all lonely and feeling neglected! I haven’t driven it in 3 days!’ For no particular reason….

Congrats on your retirement Dewey. This is your time to do all the things you want to do or not do.
Got my tour-pak relocation kit from DK today, finally. It was not their fault. They had it ready for UPS to pick up the morning after I had ordered it the previous evening. But with all the bad weather - snow, ice, freezing rain, low temps, etc., UPS didn't even pick it up for several days and then it even got delayed after that. Oh well it's here now and what a lovely piece of kit it is. It reeks of good design and quality. Happy to support a small firm that makes quality products here in the US of A. Now to get it installed.
Changed out the Dead Key Fob Battery and it started right up.........ThumbUp
Been resting in my garage for an over a week now…And that’s the most time it has ever sat without riding it …Not even for my early morning coffee runs??
