I carried the wife out for a birthday ride, just a little over sixty miles it was interesting trying to stay on back roads and avoid the rain but we did it, then we took the VW convertible out for another seventy miles and was real glad we had the top to put up, on the last leg of the ride the bottom fell out and it rained so hard for about ten minutes we could hardly see the road then it just stopped. She enjoyed it that's what matters.

Very pleased on how it turned out and it handled beautifully. I rode it almost 600 miles on Friday from Conroe up to Corning Arkansas where I spent the night and then about 540 miles Saturday to get home in Wisconsin. Today I just did another 420 miles to Farmington MO and will tack on another 200 miles to get to Mountain Home AR where I'm spending the week at a Goldwings gathering. By the time I get back home again next Saturday, it will be ready for the recommended first gear oil change in the rear end.

Mike knows his way around Goldwings, does all of his own service, maintanance and addons and though he had never installed a trike conversion or witnessed the process first hand, he wanted his hands on his own build so he'd know all the particulars if it needed service or he had to troubleshoot anything going forward. He did a good bit of the install himself and got an education.

Just did some routine checks, oil, water, fluids and tyres
Fitted a sat nav and bluetoothed it into my helmet, connected it to my phone and set it up for voice dialing
