What Did You Do To Your Freewheeler Today?

Bumper is on, I cheated and used my air ratchet, it took about 20

There is not a big difference in the HD bumper and the Cobra

If you pull up the instruction sheet for the install of the HD bumper, it is in fact pretty close to word for word of the Cobra bumper including the tightening sequence and torque

I dunno how Cobra got away with it but for my money I think the Cobra was the right choice for me plus it was $120.00 cheaper

Today I rechecked my work and found only 1 bolt was not quite tight enuff, so I re torqued them all

I actually think that the Cobra Bumper is even nicer than the HD (price aside) I chose the Cobra primarily for the Black Powder Coated Mounting Brackets ... They make the Bumper look like it is "floating" if you will, like it is mounted to the rear of the Trike and not to the under carriage. The HD Chrome Mounting Brackets draw your eye to the underside of the Trike. The Black disappears. When I saw Southport's mounted to his Trike, I knew that was the way I wanted to go ...

Bored today so I added some chrome to my side covers and around the rear fender to cover some paint chips

OK great ... that looks super. Where did you end the fender trim? Is it flush with the end of the fender? Does it go around the end and finish under the fender? More info please is always appreciated. Love the fender tips. What made you think to use that trim? :clapping:

Inspired by the new Highway Kings from H-D, I half tinted my windshield in blue to match the body. Used Vvivid product intended for headlights. Easy application.

I like it. Good job.

How are you liking the fender protection? They are doing a great job on my wife's Freewheeler.

After installing (correctly) my new Kahuna grips from HD I put on the chrome inner primary cover shroud also from HD. No issues with that install. I think I need some more chrome now. :D

Looks good JT ... Always need more chrome. I have added, imho, a bunch of very tasty chrome that to the untrained eye, several pieces I would have to point out. I like a nice balance between chrome and black and it should look like it "came that way". There's a bunch of very cool reasonably inexpensive easy to install chrome highlights. I keep a list of additions that I have done in front to back order. Starting in the very front with the Fender Spear Medallion (which I stole from you) all the way through the rear Chrome Bumper (which I kinda stole from Southport) Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

True Jeff, we start with a blank canvas and make it our own

I like the black and chrome, all the things you have done to your trike;)

You and JT inspire me

Thanks Jack ... The 1st thing that I do when getting ready to accessorize my bikes is to pick up the 790 page HD Parts & Accessories Catalog. Then I make a list of everything that I would like to do and organize the list from "least expensive" to "most expensive" ... this works well for me as I can get pretty deep into the list without applying for permission from the Mrs. If my calculations are correct (and they very rarely are) the "outside" of this project is very close to done. The "inside" stuff is more on the pricey side and does require the proper paperwork to be submitted :) Always a work in progress

Another chrome strip added

I like it! I picked up a roll of that at AutoZone over the weekend. I'm thinking of something similar on the back fenders at the bottom like your pic shows. I want to set it up with the HD scuff guard's I ordered. It's also a bit damp and chilly to be expecting a good bond with the strips at the moment, but it's supposed to go back into the high 70's in a few days. I'll let you know how it works out.
