What Did You Do To Your Freewheeler Today?

I will get a ride in to go see my granddaughter perform a gymnastic routine with her class.

Before I got the Freewheeer, I was upset when my son moved from my city to about 30 miles out, but now I enjoy the trip:cool:

The weather here has gone from rainy & cool to 90° today..

I got another great ride in today, about 70 miles. I was all over STL, stopped by my dealer & made an appt. for next Sat. to check out my re-occurring ECM-P0522 code (low voltage oil pressure sensor).

It's running fantastic & purring like a kitty. I filled it up and am only getting 38.5MPG, but I was ridding it a little aggressive in the higher RPM range.:D

Rode to Litchfield, for Neihaus annual event. Bike ran very strong going and in high headwind coming back. Shifted quieter with Harley s new primary fluid. Round trip was about 140 miles.

I had 2 Gold Wing friends go out there Friday, but I could not make it. They had a lot of new Honda trikes advertised, but $42,000 is out of my range.

Put LEDs in my front signals.

Took my wife out so she could get some more practice since the sun finally came out. She is slowly overcoming her fears. Today she graduated to 2nd gear! With lots of patience, instruction and encouragement, she's getting better. By the end of the day she was making smooth shifts up and down. Up next - 3rd gear!!

Doc's Harley Davidson in St. Louis is a quality dealership.

Took my 2017 Freewheeler into Doc's HD today for a re-occurring ECM-P0522 fault, connected to the oil pressure sensor & after verifying proper engine function, they found a rub on 1 of the sensor wires they believe to be causing the fault to intermittently occur. They replaced it and took care of the problem quickly & under warranty.

From the service manager, Tim, a Navy Veteran, to everyone else in the service department I have ever dealt with, this dealership is a class act.

Kudo's to Doc's HD.

I forgot to mention the fun part, got a total of a 70 mile ride in & should get 1 in tomorrow & Monday too.

I'm so envious right now....:) :Congrats:

It finally quit raining about 1pm here in STL & I got another 70 mile ride in.

It's supposed to be about 10° warmer tomorrow & I'm gonna ride to my youngest sons house for a bbq, after a morning memorial service & hopefully the rain will hold off.

I'm starting to like this riding every day thing.

I clean my trike up & get it all shiny, leave the house & get 5 miles & it storms like crazy for 2-3 minutes.

All total, I've rode 220 miles in 3 days, all within 35 miles of home.

My trike is running great, I've kept the revs pretty high & it delivered 38mpg.

UPDATE... If I baby it & go easy, I can get 40-41mpg, but it's just not as fun!

Coming home this afternoon it was 91° & I felt every degree.

Also, when I got home I checked & no codes.

No riding for me today, I just cleaned my FW again, using Lucas Speed Wax.

I have mention this product before, but if you have never tried it, it's an efficient, fast & easy way to clean your ride.

You can either spray it on a separate towel or right on the vehicle, it goes on like water, wipes off easily & shines beautifully. Just shake it well before using.

We have more storms coming in early tomorrow morning, possibly severe. Locally, they are having to drain levees to relieve the pressure, as they are fearing more breaches. Be safe out there.;)

Changed transmission fluid using red line fluid. I was gonna do a test run but it started raining. I will have to wait until Friday now.

You will like the Redline in the tranny, that's what I'm using & really like it.

I'm not sure it's ever gonna quit raining here.

Got a short 20 mile ride in today. It is supposed to rain here from Tuesday through Saturday.

I'm gonna clean it tomorrow & put it away for a few days.:)

Wanted to install my new Mustang seat, but it appears it does not fit with the way I have my tank lifted... I am hoping adjusting the tank works to install my seat!! Any suggestions?
