What Did You Do To Your Freewheeler Today?

Looks good JT ... Always need more chrome. I have added, imho, a bunch of very tasty chrome that to the untrained eye, several pieces I would have to point out. I like a nice balance between chrome and black and it should look like it "came that way". There's a bunch of very cool reasonably inexpensive easy to install chrome highlights. I keep a list of additions that I have done in front to back order. Starting in the very front with the Fender Spear Medallion (which I stole from you) all the way through the rear Chrome Bumper (which I kinda stole from Southport) Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

True Jeff, we start with a blank canvas and make it our own

I like the black and chrome, all the things you have done to your trike;)

You and JT inspire me

Thanks Jack ... The 1st thing that I do when getting ready to accessorize my bikes is to pick up the 790 page HD Parts & Accessories Catalog. Then I make a list of everything that I would like to do and organize the list from "least expensive" to "most expensive" ... this works well for me as I can get pretty deep into the list without applying for permission from the Mrs. If my calculations are correct (and they very rarely are) the "outside" of this project is very close to done. The "inside" stuff is more on the pricey side and does require the proper paperwork to be submitted :) Always a work in progress

I like it! I picked up a roll of that at AutoZone over the weekend. I'm thinking of something similar on the back fenders at the bottom like your pic shows. I want to set it up with the HD scuff guard's I ordered. It's also a bit damp and chilly to be expecting a good bond with the strips at the moment, but it's supposed to go back into the high 70's in a few days. I'll let you know how it works out.

John......Kazakhstan just called, They are running out of Chrome, Is there Any chance you can send them some' Just to tide them over till the war is over 'Over there.....

John Not only you are the man’ But you’re also the humanitarian👍👍🫡..

Just to add….. The luggage rack on my triglide is a necessity…It gives me a place to lay my leather jacket on when the engine is still hot… but most important it also serves as a grab handle to lift the cover up on the top box, and also lay down the cover slowly without it slamming down..👍..

Brilliant rationalization and it would also prevent those damn hand and finger prints I'm always wiping off the lid. I may have to forgo my humanitarianism till a later date.

Opening and closing the lid without a rack on it as like opening and closing a refrigerator door without a handle… you’ll have enough fingerprints on it to convict you of murder..😁

Rack

…….not to mention a great place to mount your flags……..

The Cobra rack doesn’t appear to have provisions for additional lighting. Just something to consider if you may want that option later on.

The Cobra rack would be my choice if I get one. Been looking at it for over a year.

I thought that the Cobra Rack would look great with the flow of your Trike. When I bought my FW the HD Trunk rack was already installed. If I had no rack the Cobra was my first choice. Very clean uncluttered look. Parts Giant is always my go to site.

I like the design of the Cobra rack with the turn up lip, gives me more confidence when strapping down cargo

Not everything has to be HD on my rides

original m8 107 totally crapped out at 32k

What do you mean Crapped out ? top end, lower end ? You can buy a new short black from Harley, I looked for my slip from when I bought a new 114 short block could not find it, I think it was around $2000. = $2200. I got it from Ronnies HD on line, that was in 2020 they had good online discounts & there about 70 miles from me so I picked it up saved on shipping. & it comes with the original vin stamped on it, I had to send in my left side engine case, it was cracked anyways
