I received my last shipment of goodies from Surdyke Harley Davidson in Missouri. This is the dealer I got the best bang for my buck. So since trike delivery, here is what I've done:

tGlide Shock Lift Brackets
tGlide Tour Box Rails
tGlide Wind Deflectors and Baffle
HD Bumper
HD Adjustable Back Rest
HD Windshield Chrome Trim
HD Mud Flaps
HD Luggage Rack
HD Saddle Bags
Sundowner Seat
Heated Grips
Trailer Hitch
Fender/Body Scuff Pads
3M Protector

I can't think of anything else.

How about a picture of the completed unit, mud flaps and all. I am picking
mine up this week and the dealer is installing most of that as part of the
deal (free installation).

Hey Patriot!..I wish I had a dollar for everytime I said " Well, I think I am done " Ha ha!!! Now around 12 grand into thinking I am done!!! Maybe more. Oh well. It never ends. And that is a nice lookin' TG you got there. Good job!..

I will get some pictures tomorrow. I need to clean the trike and just didn't have enough time this evening. I'm sure, down the road, I'll see something I just can't do without.

Yes you will. LOL.. My Wife and I were in the dealership yesterday, and they had a 2012 Vivid Black Streetglide Interceptor sitting there with the new HD blacked out LED headlites and passing lights installed in it. Wow!! Even my Wife noticed 'em and guess what?! She gave her blessing to get them! Whooo!! So, in the next coupla weeks that will be my next " I think I am done " installation. Then, I think I am done.

Patriot, how do you like the glide rear lift brackets? I think I am about ready to pull the trigger on a set of them so I am trying to get input. Thank you.

The rear lift as far as my opinion, is well worth the cost. I can only compare with my previous trike, a GL1800 CSC. lifting the rear is positive due to getting the back-end a little preventing exhaust drag. But the most noticeable is in cornering; the front tire feels as though it grips a little better. You might think raising the trike higher would mess with the center of gravity, and it might. But I have to tell you, cornering is greatly improved. This is all non-scientific evaluation, strictly my personal views

Heh Heh Patriot it is a never ending this sticking on Bling. My 12 is still in shop waiting for a brake line for my new bars. Also weather is not being very nice still getting snow ....but can'r wait this is my first trike so gonna be a blast.

Well, if you can't ride, bling-it. It's dangerous to sit and look at the trike. When you run out of bling, you run to he store or more. It never ends.

It is a severe problem for me because I live less than 1/2 of a mile from my dealer and they have a huge bling section. Everytime I get ready to walk the dog, my wife tries to get my credit card away from me!! Or insists that I go the other direction. Sometimes I let Zuma lead me where he wants to go, and he heads that direction because he remembers that the receptionist always gives him a cookie. And he likes to look at the bling too. That is one of my excuses anyway. I might need some intervention or therapy of some kind.

Now that's funny, blame it on Zuma. Well, the bling will now need to go on the back burner, I just bought an Aluma TK1 trike trailer. We won't trailer a lot, but there will be times when it is best to trailer. We would rather trailer, arrive fresh and enjoy the trip. The west coast is one of those places. It will happen some day.

When you make that trip out here, make sure you make some noise and let me know when and where you are, maybe get together for a ride and chow!

Good one JohnC!! Ha ha!! Yup!! Someone needs to start a support group. But it will sure not be H.D. that starts one. It would be very interesting to see the revenue figures for after market crap and how much larger the $ is than actual bike sales revenue.

I don't know when a trip out west will occur, but a lot of planning to see the great sites. I am originally from Palm Springs, born and raised there. After leaving CA 1974, I long to ride the coast and the mountains. I did ride until 2003 and now look forward to seeing those places in the saddle. Idaho has some beautiful places also. One day we will be there.

I think that a support group is a great idea ! but for all the best places to buy at good prices!!
I also am a Chromaholic . sides gives ya something to do on days ya can't ride haha (like polish)

O ya any of ya come to Canada let me know we got some great rides around here.

Being a Chromaholic is fer sure not one of the worse sicknesses to have. But it does lighten your wallet. And you are not hung over after you indulge. Just wantin' more!

As much as would love to do CA and the west coast this year, it may not be in the cards. We are so busy starting this Sunday. I don't think we could squeeze CA in. Look at this schedule:

1. Omaha: Mar 18th - 25th. Towing trike
2. Mt Home, AR: Mar 25th - Apr 1. Towing trike and riding in the Ozarks if weather cooperates
3. Little Switzerland, NC: Apr 26 - 29. Spring ride to NC mountains.
4. Dillard, GA (Georgia mountains): Jun 14 - 15. Riding to Dillard for GWRRA Spring Fling.
5. Ft Wayne, IN: Jul 2nd - 7th. Ride to Ft Wayne for GWRRA Wing Ding.

I just noticed, I have the entire late summer and fall to go to CA. I don't know if that is possible. It's a long drive.

Wow!! You are a busy man! Well, if you do head this way, let me know. We will be going to Yellowstone in September. That is a great time of year to go there. Crowds are gone, fall in the air, animals are very active. Welcome to join us!

Patriot,
I think you left one off your list!!! TrikeTalk.com's Fifth Annual Rally in the Valley, June 21-24!!! Lots of us gonna be there - lookin' for over 300 folks 'n' their trikes to show up!! SURELY you don't wanna miss that!!!

Blondie Gal, you're killing me. I seen the tread talking about the Rally in the Valley. I would love to come, but that will have to wait. We have commitments with the GWRRA and there is this other thing called MONEY. when we travel and stay in the hotel, we just add another $30 for the kennel. It all adds up. We will get a taste of the Smokies when we go to Little Switzerland. I'll be trilled to ride the back road on the way there. I can't wait.

Stage 1 per Harley info gives more torque by freer breathing capability, uses a synethic media washable air cleaner that does not require oiling and once recalibration is done, this will allow the engine to rev to 6200 rpm. I heard that is helps gas mileage, all my recent miles, are with two aboard with city mileage. Trip this weekend, I will check it then. I am averaging in the mid 30's in mileage currently, don't know if this is average or low....book says average mileage is 45....Previous Ultra Classic did better than that.
Trke takes about 500 rpms more to do the same speed as the Ultra Classic.

Put a set on mine, and love them. Ride is imroved, steering is much better and no more dragging the tail pipes. Not that costly and easy to put on yourself if so inclined.

I would say mid-30s mpg is the high-side of average. My break-in mileage is somewhere between 25 and 28. My 2010's best was 32 if I was under 60 mph for the whole gas tank. I stopped worrying about it because it was giving me ulcers. I hope Big Blue runs somewhere in the low 30s eventually. Got a long trip to Rhode Island and back beginning around Memorial Day and better mileage would give me more money for T-shirts :D
