Welcome Back!

Thanks for all the work you Randy and all the others did to get Trike Talk up and running again.
I visited the Facebook page, it was a Trike Talk site in name but not in spirit. Even tried a few other trike sites. Close but no cigar? Nope, not close and not even a soggy old stogie on the sidewalk. As the song says: Ain't nothing like the real thing.

I did spend some time on Ukulele Underground.
JEEZ:gah:, how many times does somebody have to ask "What is the best strings?"

Just to clarify.....that's like asking again "What's the best oil?" on this site.

I don't look at UU anymore. If you look me up, you'll notice I have 29,999 posts. Don't know if I'll ever go back and make the one more post to up it to 30,000. Some people there left a bad taste in my mouth.

This place is just soooo much better, and the folks are much nicer and hardly anybody is snarky.

You could always use that 30,000th post to say good bye :p
If they had a "Jungle" over there, the place would explode:xszpv:
Some people do put up talented videos :clapping:

I just bought a Ukulele a few weeks ago........what are the best strings.?:cxtv::AGGHH::cxtv:

I would recommend steel strings, heavy gauge.

I checked the site numerous times every day to see if it was back up. It was like wandering lost in the dark while it was down. I was afraid to ride the trike in case it broke down and I couldn't get any help on how to fix it. Scary times!

Glad you are back!

Sunman

E-Mail.

Before the site went down, I would get a email notice on a post being made. Did not like that as it was overloading my mail box. Seems like that has stopped :clapping:Has any one else had that?

Ditto! 100% agree with Sunman!
i can ever remember entering a URL and not getting some message of some sort. I got a just a blank page.

:D One of the other forums pulled my TT related thread and threatened to ban another member for the thread he started about tt being down. Was never that way untill internet brands bought it.

Man that was nerve racking! As I said on another post, not being able to log in for 3 days made me realize how much I would miss this place if it didn't exist!

Now I know what addicts feel when they don't have their fix. Wow. Thanks to all for getting it running again and may I say it seems to be really smoking fast right now.

I missed you guys and girls

Steve

I probably should not have completely dismantled my three computers looking for the problem.;)

Seriously, thanks for getting it back up and running. I appreciate the work that goes into keeping the site as an A-1 place to visit.
