Well family...I am so sad to announce that we have lost a dear member. trikes4ever (Bob Reeves) apparently died of a heart attack... Thats all I know at this point.

Video of Bob Riding His Deuce

Ride in peace dear friend!

I have a call in to the Lake Livingston, TX (Polk County) newspaper for more information which I expect tomorrow, but one of Bob's friends has told me that Bob suffered an apparent heart attack while stopped at a traffic light. Riding his trike was one of his favorite things to do, and isn't a bad way to go. Our deepest condolences to his friends and family.

I'll add more information tomorrow, as it becomes available.

So sad to hear this news! Many prayers and caring thoughts going out to all of Bob's family and friends. He has been such a positive, active part of our forum family, and will be much missed.

His videos on you tube show what a nice guy he was and how much he enjoyed his duce. He sent me several Pms about his work on his trike and how he spent a lot of time tuning in those carbs. rest in piece my friend. you will be missed very much by me and many, many others. curley

Terrible News....I first was sent info in several PMs about an accident....I see this wasn't the case. I hope His Family heals as soon and as well as can be, given the terrible blow.....:GrpHug1::pray:

Here is an update on Bob Reeves:
He is survived by his wife, Areena, and adult children, Eric, Melissa and Allison.

Trinity Funeral Home in Trinity, TX, is in charge of the arrangements. Here is their contact information: 316 Prospect Drive, Trinity, TX 75862, (936) 594-3507

There will be a memorial service on Monday, December 27th, at 11:30AM, at Church on the Lake in Blanchard, TX. If we have any TT members in the area, it would be most appreciated if you could attend.

Sorry to hear about Bob, we'll pray for him & his family...It's sad to lose a member of your family, this time of year even makes it tougher...

Hey everybody.. My name is Eric Reeves, and I am Bob's son.

Thanks to you all for the thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Dad was always a kid at heart, and loved his toys... We are all thankful that he left this world quickly doing what he loved to do.

The last 5-6 years of his life have been full of some really wonderful and memorable times with our extended family, and after going through 4 others, he finally built that Harley trike he always wanted...

Unfortunately his trike didn't fare too well. It is possible the rear-end, motor, and transmission may be salvageable. If so, I may be on my way to triking my '04 Sportster. :)

Thanks to you all...! It means a lot.

- Eric
