Been gone for six months with a shattered shoulder and am contemplating a vw build again. I'm aware of the frame builders that are out there but wondering if anyone out there might have a frame already built that they would like to sell. Got lazy I guess and want to start with a frame already built. Let me know--thanks.:)

Yes Ebay has several , from do your own welding to complete frames . WILDMAN TRIKES in Fla. has any from VWs to V8s and builds a very nice frame . ThumbUpOnetonmagoo on youtube is a very good source of how to information and you can find him on facebook under Conrad Lawarence .

There are VW sites on facebook with a lot of builders and help vw trike owners of which I'm a member has helped me a lot . Do your research and you can find plenty of help out there . ThumbUp

Thanks Slick Rick--I found a frame I like at CC and wrote them twice with no response and I wrote another company that builds frames but no response. I haven't looked on facebook--thanks for that. I want a longer frame and that's where Wildman and other frame builders won't work. Then shipping a longer frame isn't possible without a car hauler. Greyhound has length restrictions. But when the right one comes along, i'll pay the toll. Thanks again. MERRY CHRISTMAS to all.

I have a few NovaTrikes frame kits available to my friends (and TrikeTalk/TOI members are on that list). With the frame kit I provide a fully welded frame (no welding - none), just paint and assemble. With the frame comes fenders, 4 piece fairing set (l&r sides, door, chin spoiler), special shifter assembly (to run it safely through the middle of the gas tank), suspension leading arms and a boxed set of assembly hardware (bolts, nuts, brackets, etc.). We'll provide a basic assebmby manual although it is quite basic. You provide your own swingarm drivetrain and other assemblies and components. Shipping from AL to continental US usually runs about $250.

This kit will give you a perfect foundation for a great trike, and will save you bunches of bucks in the end if this is what you'd like to build. For a fellow Trike Talk friend, I have a few tourpak trunks left and I'll toss one in for free, and maybe a few other goodies.

My kit prices were $2495 - $2995 previously, but I intend to let some of the kits go for about $2000 (with Manufacturer's Statement of Origin and Bill of Sale). VIN is registered and it's plate permanently affixed on the neck. If this is something that interests you, please contact me by direct email (lreed@novadefense.com) and I will answer questions or provide you with more info.

Sorry for my rush here, but I've got a lot of Christmas stuff waiting to be done.

Slick Rick - I haven't forgotten, but I'm waiting until I go to our storage facility to check stock. If I have an extra chin spoiler, it will definitely be available, and I'll give you family price.

I've been considering this trike build but would like other opinions. I like the frame except for the square tubing that i'll remove. I don't wish to have a body--just some seats and fuel cell. This is $2500. Need to know tomorrow. Take it and make it your own , that's the great part . A decision I made when it was time to trike wanted something different and have never felt I made the wrong one .

Thanks Loner I love those family deals I think  but than again I know my family , may not be a good move !!!!!! LOL just let me know

Loner---Thanks for the offer on this stuff. I'm right now kicking around another offer I received and finding out that shipping went way up compared to the last jeep I had delivered.
