Utopia Backrest and Aux Tank

I am looking at installing the Utopia backrest on a 2005 GL1800 CSC Cobra with the auxiliary fuel tank.

Was wondering if anyone has this setup and if there was any problems.

The Utopia mounting brackets fit entirely above/within the bikes frame and such so I can't see any way it would not work with the AUX fuel tank.

I have Utopia backrest on '08 and it mounts to the Goldwing seat frame. Should not be any problem with mounting on your trike.

No issues. I have that set up on my 03 with a 08 CSC kit.

Are you aware of the fact that UTOPIA backrests sell a $10-$15 add on that allows the backrest to be lifted out and not always have to be permanent..I have one on mine and have used it many times..A good investment BEFORE installation..........Just call them

That's a GREAT idea. My backrest is there ALL the time. And, yes, there are occasions where I wish it was a lot easier to remove than what it now is.
