Passenger backrest air deflector.

I am looking for any information on the air deflector that mounts behind the passenger backrest. Kuryakon did sell one like this, at one time, but has discontinued them. I was wondering if any one has used one, or how to get a hold of one to try.

I know two guys who tried them and took them off. said they didn't work and was a waste of money. Just sayin......

I agree.
I bought one when they first came out.
Installed it and didn't like the smoked color of it.
We took it for a ride and it didn't do anything for my wife. When I was by myself, it flopped back and forth in the wind.
Also my full and half covers didn't fit due to the extra height.
Sent it back and got a refund.
Save your money.

Part of the issue with owning one depends on many factors. I started out with Bakers all the way around to get rid of the passenger turbulence. Finally added a Tulsa +4 which got rid of a lot of it. The last piece to fix it was the Kury airfoil. But Im 6 ft 2 long torsoed and my wife is 5 ft so all these combinations work for us. I also have a half cover for mine by Dowco and it fits very nicely so maybe we just got lucky. I think passenger height and what you use for air management all play into the issue. Interestingly enough if you look at Porsche convertibles and similar higher end cars and such youll see something familiar behind the driver and passengers heads for air management. So there must be something to it.
