upgrading m/t brakes

I have a motor trike adventure kit on a2007 and would like to improve the brakes. I don't have an issue with spunky brake peddle just that the actual stopping isn't as good as I would like . To make any improvement I would need to know what the model of rear axle motor trike used. Having asked their tech department who say They don't know! I do know it has Ford brake pads but i can't find which discs or axle they come from.perhaps someone in the know can help in either suggesting how to improve the brakes or naming the rear axle.

Since you're changing anything else in the brake system about the only choice you have is to use a more aggressive brake pad. On my Roadsmith I chose some EBC Yellowstuff pads which can be ordered from Summit Racing. Once you find out what brakes Motor Trike used you can probably find a more aggressive pad.

I was considering that as an option to possible unlinking my brakes.
I know the pad make m/ t use but they cannot give me the actual axle that they use.
Else where on this forum I have also asked about the effect of unlinking the brakes. Champion trike ,I understand, already do that. By adding another disc to the system it must put a greater load onto what already is a complicated one.
Changing the brake pads may be be the first step.
I have been searching the web but up to know have not found a manufacturer . Thank for the information.
