Unhappy Harley owner

Will do Chazzman if I ever get it home. Was going Friday and got rained out now looks as if I will get rained out tomorrow. Now have it set up for Tuesday if no rain.....

You have to get a sense of adventure, whats a little rain:D. I brought my 2012 GL1800 home in a down pour.

+1 On what Konrad said ... I love my Roadsmith .. Had The Trike Shop in Daytona
Beach do my conversion .. WHY .. They are good and the Owner/CEO/Founder of
Roadsmith has his office there ... If the techs have a question, he has the answer.
Their whole crew is awesome, Supurb Customer Service after the conversion ..
I know what you mean about the Tri-Glide .. Have a friend that is trying to offload
his on the Facebook MC sales site .. He hates it, his wife hates it, heat,
uncomfortable, bla bla bla ... He has a 10 GL1800 also that will be converted once
he sells the Tri-glide ..

My main bitch was when I was shopping one Harley dealer hit me with a 42,000 out-the-door price. Needless to say I went to another dealer. When I was at the OTHER dealer they were more concerned with getting me to sign up for a loan when I wanted to pay ca$h. That's ALL they talked about.

So I said screw that. And I got serious about a GoldWing trike. And, after seeing all of the issues that are cropping up with Harley trikes now, I am damn glad that I did.

Interestingly enough, I have been back to these same dealers on the trike and I get nothing BUT compliments. And a few "I wish I would have bought one of those instead"...........

My brother in law bought a new Harley Triglide 2 yrs ago and the heat drove him and my sister crazy. He spent another $2500.00 on modifications and it still isn't much better. The power is weak and apparently from what he says it has no rake. He said if he had it to do over he would probably get a Wing. He also mentioned that the trunk leaks and he said it is common in that model

If he has an 09 he may not have had the trunk seal replaced, there is a bulletin HD released a few years ago Click Here .

Buy Victory! Buy American!

California Side Car makes an awesome trike kit for the Victory Cross Country bike. If this was available at the time I was trike shopping, I would not have purchased a TriGlide.

The Victory Cross Country is a beautiful bike. If you are a taller rider, you will appreciate the tons of leg room it offers. It's a bike you site down into rather than on top of. The 106" motor has great power and torque right out of the box.

I know this is a Honda thread but I am just throwing that out there as another option to consider.

Sure liking those curved fenders vs my huge Road Smith, flat jobs. But it is what is and I like my RS.
