Harley mufflers on a gl1500

I put HD Road King mufflers on my 03 RSV and it sounded great. So much so that I kept them when I sold it and thought I might build the adapters put them on the GL to see how I like it.
The main thing I don't like about the RS is that the stock mufflers don't come out to the tail end of the conversion.

With stock HD mufflers is the touring models has a extra baffle in the left Side muffler. Much more restricted. The Dyna bikes has the cat in the muffler. Again restriction.

This only holds true for a couple of years before Harley got smart and moved the Cat up into the header. I believe the years to stay away from are '06-'08?... Baffles in straight thru's don't restrict, but cut down on the db's.

Dyna bikes still have the cat in the muffler.
Not so sure if soft tails do or not but all the rest has em in the header. I am using factory mufflers on my street glide 2012. The left side as all the rest I have had the left muffler is restricted. This is why it is called 2 into 1 into 2.
i ,was going to upgrade the mufflers on it and use them on the RS GW trike. I decided not to because of the left side is restricted in the mufflers
