It has 18 rows and two fans. The cost covers the oil filter adaptor with thermoswitch, so you don't have use your oil pan extra threaded port in case you want to add something, I added an oil temp sender. Absolutely no comparison between the Jagg and Ultracool.
I would agree to disagree, I have a Jagg ten row on my 2011 that is fan asssisted and wired so I can control the fan. I've never seen over 230 in heavy traffic even with the heat and humidity here in SW Florida. During our winter I barely see 190-210. I also have the temp guage into my oil pan without a thermostat. It's all relative on who has the best product and customer service and not the newest and best gizmo. I guarantee that Ultracool upgraded the earlier product as there were leaking problems and it was not as good as the Jagg. I Beta tested them both and I know, so time will tell.
I'm glad you posted. I had the old model ready to install until I read your research. Good friend of mine installed the original and his temps actually went up. I sent mine back and got the JAGG fan assist and never see over 230 deg either. I'm glad they made improvements as it's always nice to have options.
I forgot to mention that the ultracool has a chrome case and stainless steel braded oil lines. Never done any testing just features.
You can also get it in black, which is what I did. That way I don't have to polish it!
