Ultimate Seats stock seat driver backrest installed

I received my Ultimate Seats stock seat driver backrest yesterday and bolted it in.

It took 2 minutes 23 seconds from the time I put the screwdriver to the bolt holding the seat down to the point where I inserted the backrest into the bracket.

It would have taken less time if I didn't have to go over this way to put the seat down, over that way to get the bracket, over this way to retrieve the seat, over that way to get the backrest.

Rode to work this morning, a 45 minute ride and the backrest was the best!

Normally a 45 minute ride is tough on my back without a wife to lean back on (I have more than a few spine injuries in my collection; wife-as-backrest lets us ride for a few hours before I have to stretch.) I could have continued on solo for hours this morning.

$250.

I like the stock seat. So does my wife. Now we both have backrests. We're happy.

Anyway, I love this thing. Solid, fine looking, easy to install, super adjustable, comfortable and well priced.

Thanks for posting this information on the ultimate seats driver backrest.
I was unsure of which backrest to get.
Thanks again

Thanks for posting this. I am looking to get a backrest for my Tri. Could you post some pictures?

that is awesome... I also have a bad back resulting in sciatica. I would no longer be able to ride without a backrest. enjoy : - )

I bought that same Backrest for my Ultimate Tall Boy Seat. It is very comfortable on long hauls and the fold down forward feature is nice too.
