Trunk latch

2nd posting (first one deleted????) The lower(Basement ) trunk latch keeps popping open going down the hiway on my 96se Roadsmith . Is there an adjustment I am missing

Mine popped open once on the way home. Will keep an eye on it. There is a bolt and nut that holds the pin that goes into the locking mech. There is some adjustment there to make it tighter. Mine however is at the limit now. Not sure if there is another adjustment.

Thanks. I'll take a look see. Mine is controled by the lever that operated the right saddlebag.

Joe, what's the chrome doo-dad at the top right of your trunk lid?

Sorta looks like a power antenna in there.

It's the release for the trunk. It's also the lock. Black plastic.
