Western Rally Registration Dinner

:wave4: Hi yo'all. Time to get serious now.

There will be a Get to Know You & Registration no -host dinner on Sunday 15th evening abt 5:30pm to whenever, at the Cedar Inn banquet room. The "Bard" restaurant has offered to allow us to order off their menu & bill everyone individually. We will hand out ride options and Registration forms that will need to be signed & returned before the first ride on Monday. Additionally, the local Tourist office has promised to leave behind a chunky package for each of us, all about the local attractions. If you plan to arrive Sunday, it will be a great idea to attend this mixer!

So we need a head count ASAP, folks. Kindly let me know if you can attend. And don't forget to include the names of any of your guests that may be attending as well.

Man...I am getting excited ...this is gonna be funpepperpepper

We plan to arrive Sunday and will attend the meet and greet if we get there early enough. We plan to spend Saturday night in Holbrook or around there somewhere.

Dude...where ya been?? Loooong time no see! Look forward to seeing ya again!!

No $hi+! It has been a while. Hate to admit it, but haven't stopped by in ALMOST a year! Had to wrack what's left of my brain REALLY hard just to remember my name & password. Got to missin' ya'll, so checked in & was surprised to see there was a Rally less than 200 miles away --- AND ya'll had one last year too! 'Cept that one was about 450 miles away. But still, I'da been there had I known it was on. Actually, it was Zook's T shirt contest that got me thinking right again. :xzqxz:

Re: Western Rally Registration Dinner

And she trusts you on ya own??

Evidently more than me staying home & bugging her. Not sure yet, but may have black powder shoot just north of St George on the 14th. For sure have a PGR Mission starting in Wendover, NV on the 20th that'll run over to Carson City & again Sat, Carson City to Dayton. Seems a lady back in St Louis found an old bunch of letters & a Purple Heart medal in her parent's atic a number of years ago. She recently found a Grandaughter of the WWII KIA the Purple Heart was awarded for & is delivering it personaly on 21st in Dayton, NV. NV Patriot Guard is providing an escort for her across our State & to her delivery destination. PGR of UT, WY, CO, KS, & MO are also performing escort dutys for this unusual journey. Needless to say, I'll be bugging out from the Rally Thurs morning to make it to Wendover in time. Figured most of ya'll would understand. SO -- I'll be out of 'Pest's hair for 10 days or so, get some serious miles & bugs + get to attend the Rally & maybe a shoot. Seemed like a heck of a deal to me!! :D pepper

Re: Western Rally Registration Dinner

Got your rides figured out for the Rally? I can think of 3 off the top of my head that'd be nice easy day trips with enough sweepers & twisties to keep people awake.

Seems to be some confusion regarding the Rally Dinner on Sunday.:xzqxz: My bad! This is simply a way to register, meet each other & talk abt where you want to ride on Monday morning. I thought it would kick-off the rides on Mon morning & not waste time signing waivers & figuring out whose going where!. If u r there on Sunday fine...if not, catch u Mon morning. And if everyone wants, we can have another dinner mid-week. I believe there are great places to eat in Cedar City & if all else fails The Bard at the Inn itself is supposed to have pretty good eating. So just relax & be there, we'll figure it out as we go.:)

I have been informally invited to volunteer for 2014 TOI Western Rally! As I mentioned to Salty in a pm, the week after 4th of July is taken (will be in Kerrville, TX) and 2nd week in Sept is a Year-End Meet (different location each year within the Pacific Northwest)......

Sooooo, I will throw my hat into the ring and volunteer if the months/dates selected excludes those two above! Have passed the word to Idaho friends attending to vote for AUGUST (lol)!!!

1:Sunday about 5.30 onwards we start registration & ride planning. As indicated earlier, ALL need to sign a Waiver before riding with the group. Monday's ride will be decided upon. Pick-up your name tags & T-shirts (if you ordered them:D). And check-in for the Rally Dinner ThumbUp

2: Monday 16th at 6.00 pm RALLY DINNER at the "BARD Restaurant" at the Cedar Inn

3: Menu: Buffet: Roast Chicken & Beef Brisket with salad, veges, mashed potatoes / gravy & a desert

3: Cost: $15 /head.

If possible, would appreciate a reply by Fri, if not see yo'all soooon!pepper

I wondered if the Monday morning ride has been decided yet & on where & when it will be leaving from? The reason I'm asking is we have to leave to go out of town early Saturday morning & I was going to try & still get in early Mon. am. & if possible catch the first ride & register & sign the waivers.
If someone could give me a PM with a cell # I could call Sunday evening from the road to get time & place that would be great!
Thanks...
