hello everyone im a new member from Louisiana and i have a serious question
what is the difference between smith road trike and a lehman? i have a 1800
goldwing and im thinking about triking it. thanks for any and all info

Welcome to TrikeTalk, steelman! Both of these companies make a great product -- as do all of the kit manufacturers! If you have a chance, you should try to test ride an example of each trike to compare and pick the kit that you best like for you. In addition to the independent suspension on the Roadsmith, it is usually several inches longer and wider than Lehman and some of the others. That extended wheel base gives a bit different ride. The builder who did my trike told me there is not a right or a wrong -- If you want a luxury ride, go with the extended wheelbase with IRS, if you want a sportier ride, go with the other. Both great rides, just a matter of your own taste.

Thanks so much for the much needed information. I appricate that.Im
disabled and cant ride too far , so I dont suppose the comfort is really that
important. Again, thanks.

Hello All,
You might also give a serious consideration to the California Sidecar Mfg. as they are in Va. and made a beautiful conversion on my 99 Valk. I picked it up Saturday and am SOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY with the trike, finish and extremely well fitting parts and excellent ride. It's almost like riding on a soft sofa. RIDE SAFE AND WATCH FOR CAGERS !!!
