Trike Rear Lift

Mike,
Got your test set cut / powder coated for your Lehman today. Will be shipped this afternoon. Let me know how they fit and final lift at center of wheel fender and muffler tips. I set it up for a 1.25 inch lift at center of wheel fender

Had mine installed today. I have not found a jack I want so, I paid to have them done. The bottom edge of the Rush muffler tips were 5.25 inches before and now measure 6 and 3/8's. No difference in handling was noticed. I will experiment with the shock pressures on a less rainy day. The trike looks better sitting still. Much more level. The mechanic that installed them commented on the high quality of the fit and finish. I'm very pleased.

Ok all you Lehman owers now have a way, to lift that low slung Lehman conversion!!!!
Dennis has redisgned his tri-glide brackets and I just put them on my Road Glide/Lehman, on Monday.
The brackets lifted the pipes 1.25 inches to the bottom of the pipe, and 1.25 inch left on the fender measued from the ground to the bottom edge, through the axle center.
Installed the units on Monday, went for a mountain curve ride today, all I can say is, " DAM WHAT A DIFFERENCE", it is so much more stable than before, the ride is much better as well, don't drag the pipes coming in and out of my drive way any more!!
I can feel the increased weight on the front end, but not enough to be bad, is all good, front wheel stays planted on the ground better, and doesn't feel like it is skatting in a turn.
I run 23 lbs of air in the rear tires and 25 to 30 lbs in the shocks, very nice ride, now with the lift.
I truely can't find anything negative at all after lifting the trike this way!

If any one has any question about lifting a Lehman, just ask me or Dennis he has all the before and after photos and measurments, on my Lehman.

I am getting a new '12 TriGlide, and like the sounds of a lift kit. I have a steep driveway, and am already wondering about ways to get the bike up to the garage without scraping my new pipes.

got that lift kit. while trike in for 20k service and warranty replacement of reverse motor (don't ask) I decided to let ahad put the new brackets on since back wheels were coming off for new brakes anyways. the point of this post is that service manager called me and said when he called HD service about sending reverse motor he happened to mention brackets that I had added do to pipes scrapping. Factory rep said it was the 1st he heard of that problem. Dennis, if all right with you, I would like to pass your info to my dealer to give to factory. Maybe they will learn something. or buy you out.
as far as it sounds, no warranty blacklisting looming for my having brackets added in case anybody cares. Won't get trike back until next weekend to try out lift. I will know when I roll it onto trailer, though.
