Trike Lift Table Opinions Please

Well, i heard back from Redline today....it wasn't good.
The salesman is insisting they didn't do the damage and it's all on the freight company.
Well, the crate was completely undamaged...no holes, cracks, unusual marks, etc. It was pinched by a forklift in the factory/warehouse but he doesn't want to accept that.
So, basically he kinda had this, "well, you signed for it, so you're responsible and you own it" attitude. Not real helpful and pretty darn sorry. Well, I'm also in the market for a tire machine, but now I know for sure where I'm NOT going to purchase it.
He did say that they could file a hidden freight damages claim, but it would take a long time to iron out, if ever.
With that said, and me needing this lift, I went ahead and finished un-crating it and went ahead with the setup. I believe I can fix the damage, or at least get it where I can live with it. The lift safe to use otherwise and is pretty sweet.
It's just crappy to spend that kind of money on a brand new product of this magnitude and then have to go thru this when it's not even my fault, but that's the way life is these days. Live and learn. Let the buyer beware.
I would recommend that IF anyone is in the market for a K&L lift, shop around for a real K&L dealer and spend some time checking out their customer service before you ever lay down your hard-earned cash.

Did you pay for it with a credit card? If so you may have some muscle. If not I'd still file the claim and Perdue it. Even if just in principal. Freight though is only insured by the pound and not by value of the item.

You should contact K & L Directly, if it was in their crate they should help you out.... always worked well with me...

After talking to them over the past couple of days, I was asked if I had the ability and tools to fix it.
Since I do have the skills and tools to do it, they gave me the official go ahead to fix it but to send them pics of the procedure and everything I did. So I fixed it, taking/sending pics along the way. I finally put it into service this afternoon. I've had my trike on it all afternoon for maintenance with no issues at all. This thing is great. I should have bought one of these years ago. Talk about saving an old man's knees...LOL.
They're still filing an internal damage claim with the freight company and have somewhat figured out what happened at a certain depot. Where all that goes and how long, only time will tell. However, I was promised "to be treated fairly" once it's all ironed out. We shall see.
Obviously, I'm happy with the lift itself.

Yep, no doubt they are nice to have. At least it was repairable, and it's behind you. Now enjoy the benifits. :clapping:

Just an adjustment in the price for your work to make it right should be in order.

I bought one of these last year.

I was looking at the Derek Weaver table until I saw that 'Free Shipping' didn't apply to ND. Didn't even bother to call to see how much the freight surcharge would be, just said screw'em and looked elsewhere. Ticked me off.

Ordered the Redline with the electric pump, had it shipped to the job shop. Went to pick it up and first thing I saw was "Made in China" on the crate. They kinda forget to mention that on the website.

My son is an industrial welder, he looked it over and said it's well built (and he can fix anything that should break). He likes the build a lot better than the Harbor Freight lift we looked at.

I've probably used it a couple of dozen times now and so far so good. But, yeah, was not real impressed with the company.

Almost forgot - one more thing. If you get the electric pump be sure to watch the video on how to adjust it. It doesn't come with instructions, and it won't lift your trike until adjusted. Just one more thing against the company.
