Jeff try looking at DK Customs this web page a sponsor. they sell a device that you put in the pipe that will help change the sound. or change to a smaller baffle 3rd different slip ons.

I've got V&H pipes on my 131. For my pipes, they make two different baffles. I eventually swapped over to the "quiet" ones. No retuning required. It did take the "edge" off the noise level.... Still loud when ya get on it though.....

Check the V&H website and see if they offer the "quiet" baffles for your exact pipes.....

I made my own lollipops with washers and it mellowed my pipes that I bought from Fuelmoto. I guess similar to the torque inserts. They work great. I don’t have a picture but imagine a 2” washer with a welded tab welded to the end of the baffle , it muffles the sound and created a bit of back pressure.
