2023 trike service manual

You should be able to get one from the dealer but get ready to pay some serious bucks.
Some times you may find copies on Ebay or Etsy, by chance does the local library have any service manuals?

I got one for my 2021, and if I remember correctly there were two manuals one that covered the big touring bikes and a trike supplement. Maybe that has been changed since. Hang on to your hair when they quote the price!!!

I have a 2023 TriGlide. There are still 2 manuals, one for touring models, and the trike supplement. I got my manuals on ebay.

All four manuals is a costly outlay. The Trike supplement is only part of the story. You'll need the Touring manual if you ever intend to get into the motor, like doing the cam and oil pump yourself and replacing that shitty inner cam bearing with a needle (Torrington) bearing( yes you can!).Or if you just want to upgrade the Mattel plastic intake manifold to an S&S metal one. I just recently installed an S&S oil control valve...not in the trike supplement but its in the Touring manual. Ok you dont really need the manual but it has the torque specs. Even tho the Trike supplement has electrical schematics the Electrical Diagnostic Manual goes deeper. Heck, just the types of connectors and how to dismantle them without mucking them up is worth the cost. The parts manual- priceless!

@Wonder7990 , I personally got a good deal on eBay for my service manuals. Some prices are still pretty high, but if you want an original copy, these OEM manuals are a must if wrenching on your own scoot. (Also check and compare to the prices from your dealer).

BUT…. I bought off a seller on eBay doing reprints that are quite affordable too!

For my 2014, I bought the Trike supplement (came with a parts breakdown too) as an OEM original that I scored a good price on, but i purchased the reprint of the main “touring model” year too. As mentioned, you’ll need both. They are well worth it!!!

Attached is a picture of what I have for my 2014….

But here are links to “reprints” for your 2023 that you’re inquiring about. (And for any else on here wanting a service manual & trike supplement, the seller has quite a few to choose from!)

Link of the 2023 Touring Service Manual:

the seller had a 2023 reprint of the HD Trike Supplement, but he must have sold out. Reach out to him and ask. 👍🏻👍🏻

Selling copies of copyrighted material is stealing.

Buying downloaded pdf copies or reprints is supporting thieves.
LOL!!! … thanks for your “opinion” ….
.
There are a LOT of sellers on eBay selling these and eBay is highly watched by ALL major companies…
Many of these companies (including Harley, NFL, MLB, NBA, Oakley ….just to name a few) would NOT allow this if it was illegal. They watch eBay like a Hawk!

FYI Dan…. eBay has a VeRO program and Harley Davidson is part of it. If these reprints were not allowed or illegal, they would definitely pull these down.
These ARE 100% allowed, …it is NOT stealing, Nor is ANYONE who buys these supporting any thieves whatsoever.

But thanks for your “input” anyways.👍🏻

The internet is rife with companies selling counterfeit items and copyrighted material.

Unauthorized selling of copyrighted material is a violation of federal law in the United States.

This is not an opinion, but don`t take my word for it, do some research.

You can justify it any way you want, but HD does not sell pdf copies or authorize any of these operators to do so.

Just because they are out there online does not make it legal.

For the price of about 6 fill ups you can buy a real manual right from the company that wrote it.

@Dan SC …. Educate yourself…
These are legal and 100% allowed… PERIOD!

Google eBay’s VeRo program.
Most large companies from Nike, Reebok, Gucci purses, among HUNDREDS of other companies… Including Harley Davidson.
They WATCH and immediately pull any illegal items down. I know 100% for a fact.

Again… YOU do your research before you blast others on here for legally saving money and legally make our own personal choices and purchases.

You do you boo! 👍🏻
Have a great day!

For ANYONE who is wondering, I’ve contacted a very good friend who is associated with the VeRO program on eBay…
Again… these are facts, and buying these “reprints” are NOT illegal!

Hey Brett,

Not a crazy question at all! There’s always some confusion around reprints and copyright laws, so let’s clear things up.

1. eBay’s VeRO Program:
You're right that eBay’s VeRO (Verified Rights Owner) Program is designed to protect intellectual property, and if a listing violates copyright laws, rights holders (like Harley-Davidson) can report and have it taken down. Since eBay allows reprints to be sold, they don’t automatically consider them illegal.

2. No Different Than Haynes or Clymer Manuals:
Companies like Haynes and Clymer legally publish third-party service manuals based on OEM materials. Reprints function similarly—providing information for owners who need it.

3. OEMs Often Don’t Offer Printed Versions Anymore:
Many manufacturers, including Harley-Davidson, have moved to digital-only formats or stopped offering service manuals in print. Reprints fill a gap for those who prefer or require a physical copy.

4. Legal Precedents & Common Practice:
There’s no legal ruling that universally bans reprints of service manuals. Many sellers, libraries, and archives legally distribute historical manuals, and as long as the material isn’t explicitly protected by an active copyright or sold as an original, it’s typically fine.

Lastly. Fair Use & Repair Clause: U.S. copyright law allows for the distribution of technical/service materials necessary for repair and maintenance.

If someone insists it's "illegal" or "supporting thieves," ask them for a specific law or court case that says so—because there isn’t one. If HD had a problem, they would be taking action through VeRO, and they’re not.

Hope that helps put that argument to rest!

Again folks… these “reprints” are NOT illegal whatsoever…and no one is “support thieves”.
There are certain guidelines that indeed must be followed, and some actually have purchased licenses and permissions to even do so.

The only inconvenience is that some sellers offer these only with holes that require you to purchase and insert into binder (pages can be easily ripped where the holes are… but some sellers offer a spiral bound option too. So check your options from your favorite seller. 👍🏻

Hope this info helps “anyone” who is questioning about these reprints of the Service manual to help YOU see important info, tips, torque values, etc. and save some money.

Let me give my opinion which is worth exactly what it cost!!! There was a time when businesses would try and charge a price that gave them a reasonable profit, those days are gone for the most part. Now most businesses [including Harley] price their products as high as the market will bear, it has nothing to do with reasonable profit. If Harley could get 75,xxx dollars for a bike they would! In their defense they are controlled by their stockholders just like a lot of companies. As for what is or isn't legal, I'm flexible LOL. Treat me fair and I'll treat you fair, get in my pocket and it's game on!!!
