Trike is gone

Well my Gold Wing trike is gone.I was able to sell it locally and he came last night and picked it up. He and his wife were so excited they could hardly sit still.Like many of us they are long time riders who have developed medical problems that no longer permit them to enjoy 2 wheels safely,but they are not ready to hang it up yet. I hope they get as many enjoyable miles out of it as we did. We have had it since Oct 2011 and put 40K fun miles and times on it.We are now looking for a Spyder RT. I think I have found a 2012 RT Limited at a good price also locally. I should here from them sometime today. Just sitting on pins and needles waiting.

Hi Peg, believe we did some biz together, so pleased you are not giving it up and considering the Spyder. I have friend, had a 2013 Spyder has nothing bad to say about it, but it was just hot from the engine on the legs, a recall on it, but was it a fix? BRP was really dragging their feet on this fix whatever it was. Beginning 2014 the Spyder got into the 3 cylinder RT which I hear is a really top drawer machine. You might go over to spyderlovers website and check it out, or Spyder owners will come on and give you some info.

Yes I remember the cover I bought from you.It worked very well and it went with the trike when I sold it.

I have already purchased my Spyder. I got a 2012 RT limited with only 8500 miles on it. It is Lava Bronze. I will be posting pictures soon. It is so exciting to drive. I haven't had so much fun since I stopped riding on 2 wheels

Actually I have been on Spyderlovers since 2012. They helped me to decide on the Vtwin. I was not sure about it but I know a lot of people were staying with it even thought he 3 cyl was out and I wanted their impressions. I wanted a 3 cyl but could not afford one and decided I wanted a Spyder more then I cared about which engine I got. I am VERYepper: happy with the choice I made.
