Need to replace two rear wheel studs on my 2018 Tri Glide. Can any member advise if this is a dealer only job or a DIY task? If its a DIY job () any guidance on how to please? I am assuming they are a splined fit into the hub(?)

I have not done a Triglide stud yet, Take the caliper and caliper support bracket off

You should be able to knock the out studs out with a hammer

Insert new studs into back of axle, add a spacer the stud will pass thru, use an old nut with ratchet and socket to pull stud thru back of axle

I lube the treads with a bit of oil when pulling them in

If there is not enough clearance at the back of axle to do the job, you may have to either loosen the axle attaching hardware or pull the axle out

I have had to pull some axles to do this kind of job, I also had a press to push the old stud out and new one in
