Does anyone know if the 4 pin trailer connector has a convertor? I have a Bushtec trailer that I pull. It has a 6 pin connector. Right turn, left turn, brake, running, ground and a power lead. I know the Stallion has separate turn signals so I wondering if and where the converter could be to make it a 4 pin.

I have a bunch of other questions that I will wait to ask.

By the way, I am the proud new owner of #378. Just arrived here Sunday. Anybody know someone that wants a 2003 GL1800 two wheeler? I have a candy orange one that will be for sale.

Rather then a converter why not do as I did. I made the six connections into the Stallion harness. Behind the leftside wheel is where the harness for the trunk exits. I found the wires I needed to identify then made a trailer pigtail.

It has worked great for 4 years. I have an escapade trailer which also has a 6 wire harness.

right there with you I did the same thing

Thanks for the idea. I didn't know where the harness was. I'm still learning everything about the trike. I sure wish I could get a service manual somewhere for it. It sure would help with things like this.

If you know anyone who is a GWRRA member in any of the Phoenix chapters, I'm sure they would be happy to send out your bike information to their members.

My previous trailer was a 4 pin like the stallion, but my truck was a 6 pin so I just bought the adapter and put inline to pull the trailer with the p/u. Quickest and cheapest way too!!

Thanks, but that's backwards for me. The Stallion is a 4 pin and my Bushtec is a 6 pin. It has separate brake/running and turn signals lights. The 4 pin has the turn signal/brake light in the same bulb and the running is separate.

I picked one up at Auto Zone. I think it was like $14. It had six wires on one side and four on the other and came with instructions. Just had to put the ends on that matched my trailer and bike. Good luck.

Ever think about turning the connector around ?? Not sure why it would not work.

what kind of top do you have on your trike ?

It was on the trike when I purchased it. The old owner had it made where he lives SW of Seattle. He had it made because of all the rain up there and I like it because of all the sun down here.
