I have a 4 flat trailer plug and I need a 5 wire for my trailer
I took the wiring harness and followed the 4 flat wires up on top of the gas tank
yellow green brown and the ground is connected to a black wire black/yellow and the a smaller
brown and white. I couldn't find which wire is brake or get one to work anyway
this has probably been answered before.

I have a 6 pin set up on my Bushtec. The problem you have is the trailer has separate bulbs for the brake and turn signals. If it was the other way, you could purchase an adapter that would convert it to a 4 pin. I don't know if the adapters will work in reverse. I'll be waiting for an answer also, if someone has found something to work.

Hello
did you wire the setup. you basically have the same light setup.
right, left, tail, brake, ground, accessory, for elec brake, charging battery in trailer.

I just got the trike and haven't had a chance to do anything with it. I had to have the ring and pinion replaced on mine, so that was the first priority. Now I need to do something with the ignition switch that doesn't work all the time and I have something metal rattling under the trike. The trike only has a little under 13000 miles on it, but I'm still working the bugs out of it.

I see you're in Washington. This trike came from SW of Seattle.

Rocket,
Regarding the rattle under the trike, check the tail pipe . . . it may be hitting the frame.

Thanks for the suggestion Dean. Mine has a dual exhaust and they hang pretty low. I went and beat on both sides, but there doesn't seem to be anything loose. Rick

your ignition switch was installed wrong, it the steering wheel is all the way up or all the way down it will not start, it is only one way or the other (up or down)I just don't remember which. call TBMS at 888-783-3348 and they will tell you what to do.

I called them last week. TBMS says it won't start when it's all the way up. Mine won't start when it's in middle. TBMS said to spray some contact cleaner and dielectric lube on the switch and work it around. I haven't had a chance to try this. They said it does happen to the switches and this is the repair they suggest.

HelloI got my trailer wires solved. and I didn't do anything to thebike, ran a new pigtail. I took the advice of an earlier post

I think my computer hickuppp.
but anyway I rewired the trailer with a new 2 to 3 wire as was previously posted. now I still don't have brake lights on the bike, and when I went to get gas today it gave a big cough and sputtered and then ran fine but when
after i got gas the check engine light came on and yes I checked the gas cap 3 or 4 times.
