I wasn't sure where to post this, so I will let the powers that be move it if necessary.

I have an Afghan War disable Army veteran ( HERO ) that has a 2007 Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic Lehman Renegade (fully loaded ) trike with less than 4K. He has a service dog now and has no way of transporting the dog safely so his trike just sits. I suggested to him a sidecar rig and we are now looking for one possible even trade. His trike has a Kliktronic shifter on it now and that would have to be transferred or re-purchased for a rig without one. He would also need a reverse gear.

Anyone here have any leads would be greatly appreciated. The trike is located in Northern Virginia.

Welcome home brother and thanks for your service. I've seen tour pacs converted to dog carriers, but that's probably too high for the dog(medium to smell)to get to without help. Sidecar sounds like the best bet.
Have you tride The Brothers of the Third Wheel, or other three wheel organizations?
Might find an answer there.

Good Luck

I've owned a couple of sidecars. Your recommendation seems a good one. I have seen guys hauling their best friend in a sidecar more than once. You just have to learn how to ride all over again. My respect and thanks to your friend.
