I am really glad I found this Forum. Just added a 2010 TriGlide to the garage, and bought it for the long trips, but kept the Ultra for short ones, but was not sold on the trike (most other trike owners I would run into would just grumble about the steering, ride, etc; but you guys are doing something about it! ) so Thanks!
Here's my question(s):

I want to do the following (or more) to my 2010 TriGlide

1. Tune Up
2. Add Larger Filter system K & N, Arlen Ness Big Sucker ???
3. Add Race Tuner, (Impressed with Power Vision) ??
4. Add Lift Brackets/Rails -- Tglide
5. Add Rake Kit (do I need it after I add brackets and rails)? What degree?

What brand?
6. Clutch Wiz and Spring--Tglide
7. 205's on Rear
8. Tri Glide is 450 degrees -- sit on bag of ice...
9. Night Driving Lights - Daniel Stern ?

Thus I am asking for suggestions on:
2.
3.
5.
6.
8.
9.
10. Do none of the above, buy 2015 model...

Thanks again so much, experience has taught me to be a good listener...

2 yes hi flow A/C is nice
3 A tuner will help get a better fuel ratio thus making it run cooler
4 the body lift kit does a nice job of giving the trike what some consider a better look.
5 I don't think its necessary.

The trees are raked about 3.5 from the factory. You could change them if you liked. mOst have not
6 Works good for a lighter pull on the clutch handle
7 Why the tire change?
8 adding a tuner and if you like fans will lower the head temp.
9 driving lights yes but I am not familiary with those.

Welcome aboard

Here's my question(s):

I want to do the following (or more) to my 2010 TriGlide

1. Tune Up A Stage I is a good "Tune-Up", add into that new plugs and plug wires (if needed). There are many choices on Stage I kits, this LINK has some really good information & options.

2. Add Larger Filter system K & N, Arlen Ness Big Sucker ??? Yes, but get an air cleaner that does not feed hot, oily air back into the engine. See info in link above.

3. Add Race Tuner, (Impressed with Power Vision) ??

I like the Power Vision a lot.

4. Add Lift Brackets/Rails -- Tglide Take a look at the Comfort Lift when making your choice on Lifts.

5. Add Rake Kit (do I need it after I add brackets and rails)? What degree? What brand?
Talk to Bazooka (forum admin) for advice on this.

6. Clutch Wiz and Spring--Tglide Lots of folks use it for an easier clutch pull with great results.

7. 205's on Rear The stock tires are already 205's... P20565R15

8. Tri Glide is 450 degrees -- sit on bag of ice... There are a lot of things you can do to cool it down.

I would go in steps, starting with a Stage I, and only do what is needed to get the temps down for your riding style and area.

9. Night Driving Lights - Daniel Stern ? You can get some drop in LED bulbs that will light everything up really well. Check them out HERE.

Thus I am asking for suggestions on:
2. If it is not changed already, change the front drive pulley to get a bit lower gearing. HD did it on all the Tri-Glides from '11 up, but the 09-10 models are geared a bit too high. There is a thread on it HERE.

3. Floorboard Extension make the felt heat less, they also make the ride much more comfortable. See them HERE.
5.
6.

8.
9.
10. Do none of the above, buy 2015 model... That is certainly an option, but you will end up doing almost all of the same mods to a '15 as to a '10.

If it hasn't had the transmission sprocket changed from 32 tooth to 30 tooth have that done also. HUGE improvement.

wheels

if you change the wheels; ck out P/M, because later you can up-grade the size of the disc. the '09 t/ghas a 9 1/8" rear disc and can't upgrade to 11" w/o changing wheels.
